The 35-year-old star encountered a wardrobe mishap while delivering her speech on stage at the awards ceremony on March 11th. “My dress is broken. I think it happened during the I’m Just Ken performance,” she told the audience. Stone believed that her enthusiastic dancing and cheering during Ryan Gosling’s performance caused the dress to split. The actress appeared startled as she noticed the growing tear in the fabric. After her speech, Emma Stone jokingly instructed the audience, “Don’t look at my back,” as she exited the stage.

For this year’s Oscars, Emma Stone opted for a mint green peplum dress by Louis Vuitton made of jacquard silk. She was selected by Vogue as one of the best-dressed stars at the event. On the red carpet prior to the ceremony, when asked about her attire, Emma Stone expressed admiration for the beauty of the dress.

Stylist Petra Flannery paired the gown with a 30-carat diamond necklace, also from Louis Vuitton, while hairstylist Mara Roszak styled the actress’s hair in a classic updo.

Emma Stone’s film “Poor Things,” in which she plays the lead role, won four Oscars out of a total of eleven nominations at the 96th Academy Awards. Her portrayal of Bella in the film is considered a career-defining performance, blending elements of physical comedy with dramatic psychological sequences.

Emma Stone’s win was widely anticipated by critics. Prior to the ceremony, most experts praised her performance, predicting that she would secure her second Oscar trophy. Compared to her role in “La La Land” seven years ago, her character this time demanded more both emotionally and physically.

Born in 1988 in Arizona, USA, Emma Stone has been regarded as one of the jewels of the global film industry for the past decade. In her 20-year career, she has won two Oscars and a Golden Globe for Best Actress, as well as a nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in “The Favourite.” In 2015, she was listed as one of the highest-paid actresses in the world. In 2017, the actress was included in Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in the world.
