At least one person was killed, and 15 others were injured in a shooting incident in Kansas City, Missouri, USA on February 14th (local time).

Photo: Reuters Reuters reported that the shooting occurred outside Union Station in Kansas City, where a victory parade for the Kansas City Chiefs football team was taking place.
Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves announced that two suspects had been arrested. Earlier, the police confirmed that both individuals were armed.
According to Ms. Graves, the shooting incident resulted in at least one fatality and 15 others injured, including 3 in critical condition and 5 seriously wounded.
A video posted on social media showed chaotic scenes outside the station with dozens of police officers moving inside to hunt down the shooter, while many parade attendees fled in fear.
The shooting occurred just meters away from where the Kansas City Chiefs players were celebrating their victory, but Mayor Quinton Lucas stated that all players, coaches, and staff of the team had been evacuated and were safe.
Prior to this incident, the Super Bowl 2024 final had concluded with the Kansas City Chiefs emerging as the winners. Approximately 800 personnel were deployed to ensure security for the event and the victory parade that followed.
