Ben Affleck Embarks on Music Venture, Much to the Dismay of Jennifer Lopez and Matt Damon, in Dunkin’ Super Bowl Commercial.
Ben Affleck returns to the Super Bowl commercial scene this year, accompanied by some familiar faces: his wife Jennifer Lopez, best friend Matt Damon, football icon Tom Brady, rapper Fat Joe, and musician Jack Harlow, all featured in an ad for Dunkin’.
In the commercial, Affleck endeavors to kickstart a music career with the assistance of Harlow and Damon, while Brady assumes the role of his DJ. However, his debut performance as one of “The DunKings” elicits horror from his wife Lopez and Fat Joe.
The coffee giant, which counts Affleck as an official brand ambassador, teased the ad earlier in the week with a shorter online spot titled “Voice of Reason.”
This marks the second consecutive year that Affleck and Dunkin’ have collaborated for a Super Bowl commercial. Last year, the company surprised unsuspecting customers by placing Affleck behind the drive-thru window to serve their orders. Lopez also made a cameo appearance, playfully interrogating her husband about his barista stint.
In another recent Dunkin’ ad featuring Affleck, released during the Grammy Awards, TikTok star Charli D’Amelio joined the actor. The commercial humorously referenced Affleck’s viral moment at last year’s Grammys, where he appeared “bored” sitting next to Lopez. Affleck reinvents himself as the “B.Lo” musician persona, and after his aspirations as a pop star falter, he hilariously attempts to learn TikTok dance moves from D’Amelio.
